#55 -The McTaggart Cabin

From the book written in 1998....

The cottage on the bluff was built for Mr. Nicholson's daughter Eleanor (Thompson) when she married. I believe that this was the late 1920's or early 1930's. When it came up for sale at the end of the war, the McTaggart's bought it around 1946. It was an extremely well built cottage. The fireplace, built by Mr. McCullough (apparently a note worthy  expert as he was recognized as a builder of skill). Our children, Ann, Beth, Sarah and Gill and their children make our stay at Buccaneer a long one spanning five generations.  Three of these were spent on the bluff.
